The TimeCard program allows you to clock in and out of work, right from your terminal at "TimeCard Entry" in POINT OF SALE (1.11). The TimeCard entries may be edited in "TimeCard Maintenance" (9.1.2.1). The Payroll entry is made after posting the TimeCard through "Auto Post of Payroll from TimeCards" (9.1.2.3) or directly from "TimeCard Maintenance". The individual Payroll entries may then be edited at "Payroll Hours Entry" (9.1.3). Only those with security clearance will have access to the Payroll program allowing editing of the TimeCard and Posting into Payroll.
A TimeCard report lists a specific employee's or ALL employees' time for a specified date range.
The Payroll Entry may be Job Costed if used with TimeCard. You must first set up Job Cost in SYSTEM MANAGEMENT (10.7.1).
You may use TimeCard without using the Payroll program. You must, however; enter the employees in "Employee Entry" (9.3.1) in order to use TimeCard.
Minimum Job Hours are required to create a Payroll Entry from TimeCard entry. The Job Cost field is mandatory if the minimum number of hours is entered. You enter in the hours in "Employee Entry" (9.3.1).
