The system will display this customers Price for the Part Number and Unit of Measure selected.


If you need to bump the price down to the next lower Price Code level, press the space bar and then press <ENTER>. If you need to change the price, type the letter <O> for Override, the new price, and press <ENTER>. These may be password protected in "POS Passwords" in SYSTEM MANAGEMENT (10.2.6.3 field 12 page 1).


You have the ability to enter a discount percentage on an individual line item. The feature is available from within the Line Item <O>ptions when working in Line Item entry (field 6). A discount can be positive (markdown) or negative (markup). This feature can be password protected in “POS Passwords” in SYSTEM MANAGEMENT (10.2.6.3 field 35 page 2).


You may use the Minimum Price Pr Code Password in “POS Passwords” in SYSTEM MANAGEMENT (10.2.6.3 field 37 page 2), so that the Minimum Price enforced by the Minimum Price Pr Code setup in “POS Defaults and Comments” in SYSTEM MANAGEMENT (10.2.6.2 field 56 page 3), can be overridden in the Price field. The password override will be available in Line Item Entry (field 6) when doing a manual price override. If left blank the Minimum Price cannot be overridden.


A report of Price Overrides is available in “Selling Price Change Report” (1.7.3).


If the price calculates to a gross profit percent lower than the minimum standard set or if price is less than cost, a warning is displayed. Press <ENTER> to continue.


You may change the Price Code for the entire Order once you have finished entering all of the items. For more information Refer to "Order Price Code Override" in the Enter Selection Prompt section.
