Changing Customer’s Phone Numbers by Zip codes

The following instructions, from TCL, may be followed to copy a batch of customers over to a new phone number over night.

**** DO THIS AFTER HOURS WHEN NO ONE IS ON THE SYSTEM****

1. Go to the Main Menu and type in TCL and hit <ENTER>

2. Then type SELECT CUSTOMER WITH SHIP.ZIP = "33325""33326""33327"

• Make sure to enter each zip code in “”
• Enter 9 digit zip codes without the hyphen (-)  eg “330650142”

1. At the > type in COPY.CNO XXX  AAA and hit <ENTER>

• The XXX's are the old area code and the AAA'S are the new area code.
• There is a space between the old area code and the new one.
