Use this section to setup specific Part Numbers as Obsolete. You may also take a Part Number off Obsolete status.

Enter a <Y> at the prompt, to make this Part Number Obsolete, and press <ENTER>. After the Part Number is made obsolete, just press <ENTER> to continue.

                               

If the Part Number was already Obsolete, then the following message will be displayed:

"This Part Number is Obsolete." "Is this Part Number no longer Obsolete (Y/N)?"

You can type a Y to change it or N to keep it Obsolete.

The Status of an Individual Part Number can also be changed in "Inventory Entry" in INVENTORY (5.1.1 field 7).
