5.1.3 Sales Review
Previous Topic  Next Topic

Sales Review will display the sales history for any Part Number. The display will show quantity sales and quantity lost sales for this year, and two prior years.

Part Numbers cannot be added or deleted here.

The "Warranty Return" in POINT OF SALE (1.1) can be used to credit "demo" sales to reps and salespeople. This may cause Part Numbers to show a negative or a very low sales figure. In turn, this causes the Purchasing system to not re-order enough to fill sales and demos alike. There is a flag in "POS Defaults & Comments" in SYSTEM MANAGEMENT (10.2.6.2 field 37 page 3) that is used to Ignore Warranty Sales. In essence, setting this flag will treat the demo items as sales, even though the items are returned partially used.

If the feature “Update Quantity Sales by Customers Servicing Location” is turned on in “POS Defaults & Comments” in SYSTEM MANAGEMENT (10.2.6.2 field 58 page 4), then the Quantity Sales will be recorded by the Customers Servicing Location instead of the Order Location. Transfer Orders (TI) and Dollar Sales History will Not be affected.

If you have a Multi-Store system you will now be asked for Location Number. Information entered will be just for the Location specified unless "Update ALL Locations" is set to "Y" in “Inventory Setup” in SYSTEM MANAGEMENT (10.2.4.2 field 1).

The Units of Measure for the Part Number will be listed, if applicable. Enter the Selection Number for the Unit of Measure, and press <ENTER>.

After reviewing the Sales History, you may view another Unit of Measure. Enter a <U> and press <ENTER>. Enter the Selection Number for the Unit of Measure, and press <ENTER>.
