This is where you set up your Hazardous Material Class Codes. You assign this code to the individual Part Number Unit of Measure in "Inventory Entry" in INVENTORY (5.1.1 field 26).

The Hazardous Material Code may be up to six (6) characters.

The Description is the description of the code that will appear on Invoices in “POS Order Entry” in POINT OF SALE (1.1) and Transfer Purchase Order Pick Tickets in “Purchase Order Entry” in PURCHASE ORDERS (3.2.2). There are two lines available for the description.

You may set this code as hazardous or not hazardous.
