According to the Department of Transportation (HM 181) you must have specific information with every shipment of Hazardous Material. That information includes: Proper Shipping Name, Hazardous Class Number, United Nation (UN) ID, Packing Slip, Number & Type of each Container and a 24 Hour Emergency Contact Name and Phone Number. The Hazardous Material must be marked on the Invoice/Pick Ticket that accompanies the shipment.
You have the ability to have the Hazardous Material information printed on Invoices and Pick Tickets.
To make this feature active, you must put enter a 24 Hour Emergency Contact Name & Phone Number in "POS Defaults & Comments" in SYSTEM MANAGEMENT (10.2.6.2 field 26). The individual Part Numbers must be assigned a Hazardous Material Code and Unit Weight in "Inventory Entry" (5.1.1).
