SLS - How To Setup Special Pricing by Loc

The following document suggests a good procedure for setting up special pricing for a few parts by location.  This is good for parts that have different competitive price levels at different locations.


  1. Set up a special price code in sales management.  Make this a price code that is defined as 100% of price code 5.


  1. Assign this price code to all of the customers in the price sensitive location.  PLEASE CALL PERFECTION SOFTWARE SUPPORT for help in doing this.


  1. Finally, you need to set up each part number in special and quantity discount pricing in sales management.  Set each PART and SIZE to price break at 1 for quantity sold.  Do not use the % discount, but rather type in the price for the part next to the special price code


You're done.


There are 2 things necessary for maintenance to keep these prices as customers are added and as prices change.

When customers are added, you must BE SURE to assign them the special price code in their customer file.

When prices are changed, make sure that you change the price in the special and quantity discount pricing for the part.
