*This will be used if batteries go dead on a Palm OS device and all data is cleared.

Restoring the Data

• Open Palm OS device
• Click on HotSync and click on Hotsync icon
• Click Ok to accept the User name on Palm Desktop
• When done, click Reset and all programs will be restored

Note – any orders that were on the Palm OS device when it went down are gone.

Setup Network HotSync for Remote Download (only do if you download by modem)

• Open Palm OS device
• Click HotSync icon then Modem
• Click HotSync>Options >Modem Sync Prefs> click on Network, then click OK.
• Click HotSync>Options>LANSync Prefs> click on Local HotSync, then click OK (might already be there that is fine)
• Click HotSync>Options>Primary PC Setup> under Primary PC Address line, type in 10.1.1.100 then click OK
• Click HotSync>Options>Conduit Setup> uncheck everything except DataEntry and HotSync for then click OK
• Click HotSync>Options>Connection Setup> click on Standard Modem then Edit… then Details… and make sure that Init String is ATZ then click OK, OK and Done
• Below the HotSync icon, click on Select Service, make sure that Windows RAS is picked, also Administrator as User Name, password is –Assigned-, Connection should be Standard Modem and phone is correct then click done.
