After connecting the gun to the wedge (which is now a little black box on the wire itself), connect the “Y” cable to the gun, keyboard, and PC PS2 connection for the keyboard. You are connecting this to the PS2 port on the Y cable to the keyboard port on the computer. Then the keyboard is attached to the Y cable, as is the gun.
Open the manual to page 4-19 and scan the “Do Not Transmit UPC-A Check Digit” bar code with the gun.
Open the manual to page 4-50 and scan the “<Data><Suffix I>” bar code with the gun.
If you have trouble with it working after this, open the manual to page 4-7 and scan the SET ALL DEFAULTS bar code to start over.
