PPG CDN Certified Distributor Network

Installation Instructions and Users Guide


The PPG CDN system allows your customer to order product on line through PPG Central. The orders are then transferred via PPG to you and a confirmation is sent back via PPG to your customer.


Minimum Requirements

The following are minimum requirements necessary to run PPG CDN. Please get all of the following items from Perfection Software, Inc. and PPG before starting.


  1. Perfection Management Windows® Version 15.1 or later
  2. Username and Password for the customer sending you the orders. (PPG)
  3. Setup instructions for technical preparations.
  4. Dedicated High Speed Internet Connection
  5. AccuTerm© for compressed view on screen.

The PPG CDN program requires an initial setup.  After setup, you may begin transferring your customers orders through your dedicated Internet connection.

Please read these instructions entirely before starting the installation.


Before the installation can begin cURL must be installed.

The folders C:\POS.TRANSFER and C:\POS.TRANSFER\RESULTS must be created (or the drive letter you use for perfection, such as C/D/E).

The Perfection Util Service must be installed from the latest Perfection Software release.

Prior to going live with the orders the PDA Signature Capture files need to be added to the PDA.
