The following instructions, from TCL, may be followed to copy a batch of customers over to a new phone number over night.  I would recommend that you try to copy about 25 numbers the first night, then, this would let you know how many more you could try the following night.

The TCL instructions are:

SELECT CUST WITH ID "XXX]" SAMPLING 25 <ENTER>

Then at the > type the following:  COPY.CNO XXX AAA <ENTER>

The XXX's are the old area code and the AAA'S are the new area code.
