Most of the reports utilize the Display Report Utility to display the results to the screen.

After the report is displayed to the screen you will have the following options:

E<X>it, <P>rint, <D>ownload, <S>earch, and <T>op:

<ESC>=Main Menu, <\>=Exit, <Pg Up>&<Pg Down>=Page, <Up Arr>&<Down Arr>=Scroll

<X> = Exit

<P> = Print the report.

<D> = Download the report to your local hard drive on your PC.

<S> = Search for text within the report.

<T> = Go to the top of the report.

If at the top of the report you can use Up Arrow to roll around to the bottom of the report.

If choosing <D> to download the report to your local hard drive. The path defaults to C:\TEMP but will use the setup in “Port Entry” (1.10 field 16) for the download path. This directory must exist on the PC executing the download. The Windows® file name will be the report name concatenated to the port number, then .TXT. For example: ORDER.RPT10.TXT, 10 is the port number or ORDER.RPT10TAB.TXT for the TAB Delimited file name. Not all reports wil generate a TAB Delimited file.

If you wish to find a particular item, you may use the <S>earch Option. After entering <S> the user is prompted with, Search for: The search string is stored for additional searches through the report, in case the string appears more than one time. Each instance of the most recent search string will be highlighted.

Some reports also offer drill-down capabilities. If this feature is available in the report you are viewing, you will see the following help option: Enter Item to view.
