6.1.3 Customer Listing

Customer Listing will give you a report on your customers based on the criteria selected.


The following are selection criterias:


Owner's Name - Enter Owner's Name to search for. Enter the first part of the Name followed by a <]> for pattern matching. Enter a <[> followed by the last part of the Name. Enter a <[> followed be the last part of the Name, followed by a <]>. Or <*> for Wildcarding (1****6 - Starts with 1, then 4 characters, then Ends with 6).


Servicing Location, Shipping Zip Code, Salesperson of Record, Payment Terms, Billing Period, Customer Sort Code.


You may Sort by Cust Name or Zip Code.


Customers on Hold and Disabled Credit Limit Overrie - This allows the user to specify <Y>, <N>, or <Enter> for All. For example, this enables all customers that are on hold to be included or excluded from the report.


Location - this prompt will accept a region.


<F3> Alternative File Output - Includes full shipping and mailing addresses, Legal Name, A/R/ Associate, Days Past Due to Hold account and Collection Agent Name. This layout incorporates mostly credit-related information, including the new fields recently added to Customer Entry (6.1.1, fields 64-73)


You may view on the screen or print this report.


The view screen function requires an AccuTerm© station or terminal capable of viewing 132 columns. Update fields 13, 14, and 16 in “Port Entry” in POINT OF SALE (1.10) to enable this function.

       

After the report is displayed to the screen you also have the option of entering a <D> to download the report to your local hard drive. When downloading the file, the path defaults to C:\TEMP but will use the setup in “Port Entry” in POINT OF SALE (1.10 field 16) for the download path. This directory must exist on the PC executing the download. The Windows© file name will be the report name concatenated to the port number, then .TXT. For example: ORDER.RPT10.TXT, where 10 is the port number or ORDER.RPT10TAB.TXT for the TAB Delimited file name.


You may print <D>etail or <S>ummary.


The <D>etail output will have the following information: Customer Number, Name and Address, Servicing Location, Salesperson, Price Code,  Owner's Name, Referred By, Date Entered, and if they are setup to be charged Service Charge.


The <S>ummary output will have the following information:  CustomerNumber, Name and Address, Servicing Location, Salesperson, and Price Code.

Note: When either file option is selected, the <D>etail or <S>ummary prompt will be bypassed and the fixed length file will be displayed in a standard report display. When <D>ownloading the report, both Fixed length and Tab-Delimited files will be exported.
