Using the copy command to view D3 data in Windows NT
For this illustration we will use the DM account.
For Example at TCL :
You have now successfully copied the item to an area on the hard disk where it can be accessed by Windows NT. Opening a DOS Session and going to the directory where the data has been copied to you can use the TYPE command or EDIT command to view in DOS. By directly selection the file using the Windows Explorer you can use the mouse and click on the file and you will be prompted to Open using Notepad or Wordpad. Using Microsoft Word can be used to view the data as well by Selecting File and Open from the ribbon in the upper left hand corner.
To copy an account or file from Windows NT into D3 can be done :
For Example at TCL :
FRED is used in the above illustration as the name to copy ACCT into. It can be any name of your choosing.
Note: NT specified as the source or destination will do the conversion automatically.
