SLS - How To Create a New Special Price Code
Previous Topic  Next Topic

  1. Go to 2.2.2.1 Customer Price Codes Entry and create a new price code for true WD pricing.

  1. Go to 5.6.2.3 Automatic Markup Prices and use 3M as the beginning part number and 3M as the ending part number.  Then use 98 as your source, the new code as your target and 100 as the percent.  This will put a copy of the 3M prices currently in price code 98 into the new price code.

  1. Go back to 5.1.2 Costs and Prices Entry and correct any prices you had pallet pricing in.

  1. Then go to 2.2.2.4 Customer Special Pricing and assign the customers the new price code for 3M in section number 1.

Example:

1.    MFR     Name           Grp Code     Desc.        Unit       % Discount    Price Code

       3M      3M                                                                                    XX

XX in price code is the new price code you created for true WD pricing.

You can use the Group Code to limit the part numbers that the customer is getting the new price code for.

Example:  If you have group codes in 3M for Sandpaper, Stripes, Adhesives, etc.  You can put only those in.

Example:

1.    MFR     Name           Grp Code     Desc.         Unit      % Discount    Price Code

       3M      3M                 123                                                              XX

123 in group code represents your group code for Sandpaper.

Be sure to save your changes and exit.
