Duplicate Invoice or Order Numbers

Although rare, there are occasional instances where invoice numbers or order numbers are duplicated.  There are 2 utility programs to correct this problem. 

Two Orders with Same Invoice Number

At TCL in the PM account, type:

    SHL FIX.ORDER    

       - It will ask you for the order number, put in the oldest number.        - Follow on-screen instructions as to the final remedy to the problem.  Please note that inventory was        downcounted for both orders, and will need to be manually corrected.

Two Invoices with Same Order Number

At TCL in the PM account, type:

    SHL FIX.POS    

       - It will ask you for the invoice number, put in the oldest number.        - Follow on-screen instructions as to the final remedy to the problem.  Please note that inventory was        downcounted for both orders, and will need to be manually corrected.
