The following is an explanation of some of the programmable features available on an
ADDS Terminal.
To enter Setup: Hold the <CTRL> key down and press <SCROLL LOCK>.
To default the terminal back to factory settings:
Press the <F13> function key or the <PRINT SCRN> key.
Right arrow to “Default Terminal” then press <ENTER>.
Programming the Page Down Key:
<F12> for program keys
<RIGHT ARROW> to “Program=Fkey”
On older ADDS terminals:
<SPACE BAR> or <ENTER> to “Edit Key” and then <DOWN ARROW> and
then <UP ARROW> to “Key=Tab”.
<SPACE BAR> to “PageDown” and then <DOWN ARROW>
On newer ADDS terminals:
<ENTER> to “Edit Key”
<LEFT ARROW> to “Key=Tab”
<ENTER> to “PageDown” and <DOWN ARROW>.
In the Text box for PageDown press <CTRL><L> to enter “FF” in the gray box.
F14 or <CTRL><SCROLL LOCK> to save then <Y>
NOTE!!!….07/14/04….If the terminal does not come up after the correct emulation and baud rate has been set. Check to make sure that HOST/PRINTER IS SET TO EIA/NONE and not the other way around.
