6.1.11 Customer Payment Import Templates

The Customer payment Import Templates program allows the user to list and create templates. Templates are setup by customer number, and allow the user to import different formats of remittances in Payment Entry (6.4.1).

The user must be capable of providing a tab-delimited file that contains the remittance information. The template simply maps the columns of data to the proper fields in payment entry. The Accounts Receivable ID (usually the Invoice Number) is required; the Paid Amount column or the Net Amount column must be present also. The remaining fields are optional.
