The ActiveFax Network Fax software is used to provide faxing capability from within your system or from a networked workstation for faxing Microsoft® Word documents. Faxing - Long Distance Required

There is an optional string "LDR" that can be entered into the alternate phone number description for the fax number in Vendor Entry and Customer Entry to make the Long Distance Prefix Required. If used, the Long Distance Prefix (typically 1) will automatically be prefixed in the following 2 conditions:

1.) When dialing a 7 digit local phone number (ex. 1-123-4567)

2.) When the area code is in the list of areas codes that require 10 digit dialing but do not require the Long Distance Prefix, then LDR will override this and force the Long Distance Prefix.
