6.10.2 Account Status - Detail

This Account Status - Detail report will display the following account information:  Last Pay Date, Last Pay Amount, and a list of Open Items showing the original amount, Invoice date, Reference, amount applied or "No Applied Data", balance, and the aging blocks according to the customer's billing period and the system's aging period, AP Contact, Salesperson of Record, and the Last Buy Date. Option <S> can be used to allow the Account Status - Quick Summary without having to setup a function key or re-enter the customer number.


The Aging Periods reflect the Customer's billing period (Weekly or Monthly) if the Aging Type is set to Date in "Statement Terms and Comments Entry" (6.11.6 field 6). The Aging Date is displayed in the bottom help section of the screen.


Invoices marked as Disputed in "Enter PO into Posted Invoice/Show Applied Items" (6.3.5), and will appear with an asterisk (*). The Invoice is aged according to the Invoice Date and will still trigger Dunning Messages. Disputed Invoices are exempt from Service Charges.


You may display a list of Routed Customers by entering <??> at the “Customer Entry” prompt. The first customer on the list will be displayed. To get to the “Next Routed Customer,” enter an <N>. To get to the “Previous Routed Customer,” enter a <P>.


This report may only be viewed on the screen.

You may go directly to the AR Item Entry to view the entry, without getting out of the Account Status - Detail. The AR Item (Itm) number is located to the left of the AR Open Item. At the “Enter Selection prompt type in the Item number and press <ENTER>. You will now be at the AR Entry for that item. This is a view-only option. After viewing the entry, just press <ESC> or <\> to get back to Account Status Detail screen.


A comment may be displayed by entering <CO>. You may display and edit the comment. To turn on the <CO> option, you must answer Yes to “Show or Edit Cust Comments” field in “POS Defaults & Comments” in SYSTEM MANAGEMENT (10.2.6.2 field 52 page 3).


The option to display Customer Comment <CO> will only appear if there are Customer Comments entered in "Customer Entry" (6.1.1 <CO> Option). If there are no comments, then the <CO> option will not appear.


There is a <H>istory option in the program to view the A/R Balance History. Amounts have been rounded to the nearest dollar. The user can enter <T> to toggle to a full screen compressed display. A <P>rint option is available from either display. The system will remember which mode (compressed detail or uncompressed summary) that was last used for each port.


You may go directly to the Customer Inquiry screen for the displayed Customer by entering <I> and press <ENTER>. When you exit the Customer Inquiry, you will be back at this program.
