The Update Stock Levels based on Popularity Codes will update your Order Levels and Stock Levels. It is recommended that you print the "Update Stock Level Report" (3.4.2.1) before running this program.

Some considerations when deciding on the Order Level and Stock Level to use for the selected Part Numbers:

Sometimes you may want Part Numbers to never be ordered when you run "Generate Automatic Purchase Order for Vendor" (3.2.1). Set both the Order Level and Stock Level to 00 and press <ENTER>.

If you wish to lock the Order Level and Stock Level so that it will not be changed when you run "Update OL & SL based on Sales History" (3.4.1.2) in the future, enter a leading zero (0) on the Order Level. This will lock both the Order Level and the Stock Level at fixed levels. This is especially useful when setting up a range of similar part numbers to have the same order level and stock level that will not be altered based on Sales History.
