This section is used to create Locations.

Each Location must have a number assigned. The Main Location is usually listed as one (1). If the Location has already been entered you may edit the information.

The Location Name helps identify the location and is printed on reports.

The address is the physical address of the location.

The default area code for this Location will be taken from the first phone number entered.

The number of Work Days in the Week and Ending Day of the Week are used for the "End of Day Close" in POINT OF SALE (1.2). The acceptable workdays are:  MON, TUE, WED, THU, FRI, SAT, and SUN.

The Transfer Account is used in multi-location systems by the other Locations (not Main Location) to transfer inventory.

You may group your locations further by using Region Codes setup in Region Entry (10.2.5.3). A Location can be assigned to more than one Region. The Location’s information will be included in the report for each Region.
