Prior to entering vehicle information, you must setup the Location Information where the vehicles are located.

The Service Key is a short description of the service being provided. The pre-set Service Key default is LOF for Lube, Oil, and Filter.

The Service Miles is the maximum miles between services. The system uses this mileage for the “Vehicle Service Due Report” (10.11.3). The customary intervals are between 3,000 and 5,000 miles.

The Service Time is the maximum time between services in months. The system uses this time for the “Vehicle Service Due Report” (10.11.3). The customary intervals are between 6 and 12 months.

The Usage Code is the primary use of the vehicle. You may use up to 5 characters for the Usage Code and up to 15 characters for the descriptions. (Example:  DEL = Delivery.)

The default Shop Name is the shop that services most of the vehicles for this Location. It is useful to enter a Contact person who is most familiar with your vehicles.

The following Insurance Information for this location is now entered:  Insurance Company, Policy Number, Deductible Amount, Contact Person and phone numbers.

When saved, you may copy the Vehicle Setup information to All Other Locations.
