Note: If the customer is on PM.PROGRAMS 10.2 already, then the only steps to follow are lines 6 and 7.
Installation Procedures
1. Backup the files you are transferring if they already exist (in this case they do not unless you are resending the program.)
The following files need to be FTPICK’d over:
At TCL, type:SELECT OFF.PGM = PMD]

2. Type in Create-file PMD.USER 1 1 and hit <ENTER> and do the same for PMD.GROUP and PMD.MAIL on the customer’s machine.
On our machine, in PM.M to send PMD.MAIL, PMD.GROUP and PMD.USER:
Note: Each one needs to be done separately, one at a time.

4. After the above items are sent, turn on BASIC-PROT-ON in PM
5. Then compile and catalog each PGM file.
Note: For customers on pm.programs 10.2 or later, you will only need to follow steps 6 and 7.
In PM, Type: TCL <enter>

7. UD PMD.USER ACTIVE and put a 1 in attribute to activate the program.
Note: Check inter-key delay for all ports being used if the customer has a problem with the Esc. Key.
