How Reset Desqtop

If Desqtop should be inactive when you try to login, it is usually means the com port is corrupted.


  1. Login to DM and type CT MD USER-COLDSTART and look for the command line for Desqtop port. It usually appears like this:


dev-make -t serial -n 2 -a \\.\COM2,2400,8,1,N


  1. Then dev-remov this port number (ex. DEV-REMOV T2) and reset-user .


  1. And copy and the paste the current command out of user-coldstart to recreate the port.


  1. Once port is recreated, goto DSA and type C to go to Communications then O and ENTER to restart the Desqtop.
