Menu Navigation
Previous Topic  Next Topic

Menu Navigation allows for a quick way to enter a Menu by-passing Sub-Menus. This feature applies to all Menus and Programs.

Record the Selection Numbers assigned from the MAIN MENU and each additional menu. Example: Accounts Receivable on the MAIN MENU is 6, Customer on the ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE menu is 1, and Customer Entry on the Customer menu is 1.

At the MAIN MENU type this set of numbers separating each with a <.> (period). For the example above, enter 6.1.1 and press <ENTER>. You will go directly into the Customer Entry Program, by-passing the ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE menu and the Customer Menu.

The same thing is possible from a sub-menu like Accounts Receivable. If you are at the ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE menu instead of the MAIN MENU, just type the path needed from there. From the example above, enter 1.1 and press <ENTER>. You will by-pass the Customer menu and go directly into the Customer Entry Program.
