1. Kill a Print Job
Previous Topic  Next Topic

Kill A Print Job will cause the current print job to abort (stop). This is helpful if you accidentally started printing a large job. It may be necessary to go to another terminal to access the Printer Control Menu.

Type PR and press <ENTER> at any menu screen. Enter <1> at the Printer Control Main Menu.

Enter the printer number where the job is printing, and press <ENTER>. You may have to do this procedure a few times to kill the whole print job. After the printer is inactive, just press <ENTER> to continue.

The printer has a spooler that holds memory, even after the print job is killed. It may be necessary to turn the printer off and back on to erase the spooler. Be sure to realign the paper before turning the printer back on.

NOTE: You cannot kill a print job from a Slave printer or Network printer.
