TCL is the Terminal Control Language for the system.

Hot TCL allows you to quickly access TCL from any point in the system. This is used to access another program in the system while not having to Escape the program you are working with. This is very useful when loading part numbers.

Press <CTRL> <T>. You will now be in TCL.

To go to the MAIN MENU, enter an M and press <ENTER>.  Go to the part of the program you need to access.

To return to where you exited from, at the MAIN MENU type TCL and press <ENTER>. Once in TCL type EXIT and press <ENTER>, or press <ESC><ESC><ENTER>. You will now be back in the program where you left off.

NOTE: Do not access the same item that you are in or this will cause a Group Lock. During a Group Lock only the user who was at the item first is able to have access. The other user(s) will be locked and a beeping sound will come from their monitor. The terminal will unlock once the original user gets out of the item that is causing the lock.
