The system will automatically default to the current year. It is not necessary to enter the year, if the default is correct.

The date is entered in the numeric day-month-year format. You may use a variety of symbols to separate the date. Acceptable symbols are:  <.>, <,>, <->, </>, <\>, <+>, or <*>.

Examples of date entry are: 2.3, 2*3, 2/3, 2+3. All of the examples are the same as 02/03/2005, assuming 2005 is the current year.
